BHBIA Legal and Ethical Guidelines for Healthcare Market Research (including Adverse Event Reporting)
Training Workshop
Tuesday 6th March 2012 AND Thursday 27th September 2012 Trafalgar Events Conference Centre, 8-9 Northumberland Street, London WC2
As Pharmaceutical companies continue to gear up their emphasis on compliance across all areas of marketing activity, adherence to the BHBIA Legal and Ethical Guidelines for Healthcare Market Research has never been more important.
This one-day workshop has been completely revised to make the format far more practical. The day now revolves around a real-life (anonymised) case study. The workshop will be highly interactive, giving you the in-depth understanding that comes from working through each element of the case-study and discussing real-life issues with colleagues from across the industry.
Topics:
The day will cover the these topics, following a case-study through the steps of a market research project from the RFP stage through to closing the project:
-
RFP & Proposal Stage
-
Sample & Respondent Ethics
- Recruitment & Recompense (including guidance on Clause 20 of the ABPI Code)
-
Questionnaires, Guides & Stimulus materials
-
Fieldwork (including different methodologies, AE collection and observation)
- Analysis, Reporting & Publication
- Closing a Project (AER reconciliation & data storage)
Who should attend?
The workshop is suitable for all healthcare business intelligence professionals who would like to refresh their knowledge and understand the new areas covered in the revised Legal and Ethical Guidelines.
Please note: The "Introduction to Pharmaceutical Business Intelligence and Market Research" course in November includes an overview of the Guidelines, but this workshop will go into much more detail and is suitable for all levels. It is complementary to the web-based training programmes and goes into a lot more detail. You are advised to study the web-based training before attending, to help you get the most from the day.
