Influencing and Making an Impact
18th September

ABPI Offices, London

Is your ability to influence colleagues, clients or suppliers important in your job? If so, this workshop will help you to be more effective in all your business interactions.

The importance of relationships for any company is paramount. Staff at all levels need to be able to foster productive relationships, work well with colleagues and reduce conflict in interactions with others.

Difficulties can occur when parties have different styles of communication. It is not so much a case of any style being wrong, but when there is a lack of awareness of different comfort zones for communicating, the potential for damaging relationships and impacting business is massive.

This one-day workshop is extremely practical and offers insight into the skills required to influence people in the most effective way.

Specific objectives for the workshop are:

·        To increase the personal versatility of participants

·        To learn skills that apply to managing a wide range of situations

·        To enable participants to reduce conflict in interactions with others

·        To identify specific strategies and communication approaches for each style

·        To practise style recognition

·        To create an action plan of how the learning will be applied
