Invitation to BHBIA members to organise training workshops/events in 2012
During 2012 the BHBIA will be running a number of one-day workshops and events. We invite BHBIA member companies to submit proposals for the sessions listed below.
Running one of our workshops or events provides member organisations with an opportunity to raise their profile amongst other BHBIA members and we are seeking the support of companies that can provide their time and expertise free of charge to co-ordinate the programme for these events. We encourage the involvement of a range of speakers - as well as agency and pharma business intelligence input we would like to see (depending on the topic) the inclusion of speakers from outside pharma - e.g. other industries, the NHS or professional trainers, and we will consider a small budget for speaker fees for outside experts. The BHBIA will fund the venue and arrange catering. Most workshop attendees will be BHBIA members - pharmaceutical companies and agencies - but registration is also open to non-members (except for the Members' Exchange Forum). For the one-day workshops our target number of attendees is around 12, but can vary from 6 to 18.
Topics are as follows (provisional dates are shown in brackets): One-day workshops
Seminars
Webinars
A given organisation/individual may submit proposals for up to 3 of the courses/sessions, according to their specific areas of expertise. (only BHBIA member organisations may apply). We particularly encourage collaborations between two or more organisations whose expertise is complementary, or agency-industry partnerships)
Deadline to notify us of your interest in pitching: 16th August
In the event that more than 3 organisations are interested in pitching for the same opportunity, we will invite proposals only from the first 3 to have indicated their interest, so please do contact us by 16th August to register your interest. We will acknowledge receipt promptly
Deadline for proposals: 30th August 2011
Organisations will be selected and notified by mid September.
Depending on feedback and future needs, those selected for 2012 may be invited to run the same session again in 2013.
