The Fieldwork Forum represents the community of agencies who have a particular specialism in fieldwork/data collection.
It is not a fixed committee - all those with an interest in this important area are welcome to join any of our activities (including freelance interviewers/moderators/recruiters who are BHBIA Personal Members as well as anyone working in a pharma company or market research agency who would like to get involved).
The BHBIA are very keen that our fieldwork members have the opportunity for a stronger voice and increased recognition as valued partners in the market research process. Our Fieldwork Forums have been looking at a number of ways to foster best practice and to make sure that fieldwork-related issues are given appropriate prominence with the BHBIA membership generally as well as at our major meetings.
Details of forthcoming and past meetings can be found in the Events, Courses & Webinars section of the website.
If you have any suggestions, or to enquire about getting involved, please email email@example.com
Following on from Xavier Fonder’s decision to step down due to an upcoming relocation for work purposes, we are delighted to announce that GKA’s Managing Director, Adam Irwin has taken on the role of Chair of the Fieldwork Forum, effective June 2020.
Adam has been with GKA since 2005 and undertook a number of roles before being announced as the MD in September 2019. He brings a wealth of healthcare experience and provides a balance to the leadership team at the Fieldwork Forum, with the majority of the work undertaken by GKA being qualitative. In his spare time, Adam enjoys spending time with his young family, walking the dog, playing football and cooking!
Vincent Wills will continue to support Adam as Deputy Chair and Neil Reynolds is the new Board Link to the Forum.
At the most recent Fieldwork Forum held on 12th June (via WebEx) Xavier was thanked for his contribution to the Forum and also 'virtually presented' with his Outstanding Contribution award by BHBIA Chairman Paul O'Nions (to see why Xavier won the award click here). Rob Heathcote was also thanked for his contribution as the previous Board Link.
Following the meeting, we are pleased to announce that Rachael Turner, Adelphi Research has been appointed to the new Fieldwork Forum secretary role.
