The Chair’s Award: Best Approach to DE&I

BACK

Entries for the BOBI Awards are now closed. The shortlisted entries will be announced mid-April.
Awarded for an approach which applied a clear Diversity, Equity & Inclusion focus, leading to a decision being made which had an impact on the UK business and/or patient access to medicine

Key requirements:

  • Showcase collaboration between client and/or agency and/or fieldwork in developing a project which includes a DE&I focus e.g. through the sampling, methodology or analysis approach.
  • Highlight the DE&I considerations and the impact it had on the project.

Answering the following questions should help bring your submission to life:

  • What was the initial business challenge?
  • Why was DE&I considered an important element of the project?
  • How was the sample/ methodological approach put together and which stakeholders were involved in this discussion (Client/ Agency/ Field)?
  • What was the business decision that was made as a result of this project and what insights were gleaned from the DE&I focus which were key to these decisions being made?
How to enter

First, please see:

  • SUBMISSION GUIDELINES to make sure that your entry meets the required specifications - this tab includes details of the specific criteria against which your entry will be judged
  • FAQS and ENTRY TIPS for lots of helpful advice to help you fine tune your entry

Please do check out these two tabs. Every year people lose points for not having followed the submission guidelines, and every year we receive requests for information which is already in the FAQs

Then, click on the ENTER NOW button below to submit your entry (we recommend that you check out the form now so that you know exactly what information will be needed. You can make a start on completing the form at any time, and save your progress)

  • You’ll need to have all the entrants’ details to hand and ensure you have obtained their permissions for their details to be used in publicity
  • The entry form gives you the opportunity to specify any companies who should not view your entry – so that these can be excluded from the judging panel.
What happens next?
  • Judging will take place in March. The panel for each category will be carefully selected to ensure impartiality and all judges sign a confidentiality undertaking.
  • The finalists will be publicised towards the end of April. Before the publicity goes out, we’ll let you know whether or not your entry has been successful in reaching this stage.
  • If you are shortlisted, we'll request photographs of the main entrants and consent from all entrants to be named.
  • One of the shortlisted entries will be announced as the winner at the awards ceremony on 13th May.
