Winter Seminar Sponsorship Opportunities 2017

For this year's Winter Seminar: 'Log-in to Pharma's Future: Are you signed up?', to be held on Friday 1st December, we are offering an exciting sponsorship package - the opportunity to be the sponsors of the whole event

  • A great chance to have your company recognised in communications before, during and after the meeting and your logo on a range of event materials. 
  • The package includes two delegate places and the option to have an exhibition space from which you can promote your products and services.
  • This special opportunity is only on offer until 31st October (subject to availability) and will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis to the first organisation to confirm their interest.

There are also options to get involved through sponsoring a prize for our charity raffle in aid of the Carers Trust.

These opportunities are open to both pharmaceutical companies and agencies/consultancies (BHBIA members only).

If you would like to take up one of these options please email us at admin@bhbia.org.uk stating clearly which item(s) you would like to reserve. In case your first choice is not available, please list any further items you are interested in, in order of preference. (It is likely that we will need to limit sponsorship to one item per organisation, but please let us know if you would like to sponsor more than one, should this be possible).

Items marked * must be supplied to the BHBIA by Friday 17th November at the latest.

Opportunities will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis to those who express their interest.

The opportunity to sponsor individual items will be made available from the 1st November subject to availability.

Opportunity Sponsorship Fee

1. Sponsorship of the Whole Event

Contribution towards printing of the programme

  • BHBIA to print programme
  • Sponsoring company to be credited with donation towards print costs, on the programme and from the stage on the day
  • Sponsor's logo in the programme
  • Will be mailed to full BHBIA mailing list prior to the event and will be placed in the delegates pack.

Sponsorship of networking drinks reception 

  • Pre-lunch drinks reception as provided by the venue
  • Sponsor's logo to be displayed on cocktail tables
  • Acknowledgement from the stage on the day

Sponsorship of wine with lunch 

  • Wine as provided by the venue
  • Sponsor's logo to be displayed on the lunch tables (either on the menu or on a separate card)
  • Acknowledgement from the stage on the day

Table favours/small boxes of chocolates for lunch

  • To be supplied by the BHBIA and will include the sponsor's logo
  • These will not carry the BHBIA logo

*Notepads (n=130)

  • To be supplied by the sponsoring company (no smaller than A5) and will be handed out in the delegate bags/folders
  • These do not need to carry a BHBIA logo.

Exhibition Space
  • Area provied near the tea/coffee station / main room
  • Table & two chairs provided if required
  • Sponsor to provide stand and can display any materials in the area provided
Delegate List
  • To be provided by BHBIA one week prior to the event
  • List will include delegate names and company names
Two free delegate places
  • Delegate names to be provided 1 week prior to the event, to be included on the delegate lists in packs
  • Includes attendance at the seminar, networking drinks and Christmas lunch

Background on our Charity for the BHBIA Winter Seminar event

There are over 6 million carers in the UK. At Carers Trust we aim to provide them with the support, advice and information necessary to assist them wherever and whenever they need our help. This can range from providing benefits advice, grants for essential sources of support or arranging respite care. Our 144 Carers’ Centres and online services offer a lifeline for hundreds of thousands of carers across the UK.

Today we are the largest provider of carer support in the UK offering unique and innovative services. This work would have been impossible without the generosity of individual supporters as well as companies and organisations. Without their involvement and contributions, hundreds of thousands of carers would be left to cope alone.

We have been able to offer a number of funds that help carers, including the Carers Relief Fund, Carers Break Fund and Young Carers Activities Fund. We now award around 650 individual grants each year. These are designed to improve carers’ lives, health and well-being as well as help them meet the cost of things like transport, household appliances and specialist equipment.

We provide access to 24-hour information, advice and peer support for carers wherever they live in the UK, via our interactive websites www.carers.org and www.youngcarers.net. The discussion boards and chat rooms give carers the opportunity to share experiences and meet others in a similar position. Our online services are particularly valuable for their ability to reach carers who cannot access a Carers’ Centre due to their location or the demands of their caring role.

With an ageing population, the UK will need more care from families and friends in the future. This is an issue that will touch everyone’s life at some point and Carers Trust aims to be there to help carers which is why more than ever we will continue to rely on generous individuals support now and in the future.
