Practical and Ethical Consent Gathering and Management for Customer Database Managers
This module focuses on the key Ethics and Compliance considerations when dealing with Consents for secondary data processing, including Master Customer Data and CRM.
The training is particularly suitable for those:
- In client-side roles - including Compliance, CRM Manager, SFE, Commercial Operations/Excellence, BI Analyst - with responsibility for managing consent gathering and databases containing healthcare professionals' details.
- In agency teams working with customer data - ranging from account management teams dealing with client databases to fieldwork teams managing market research respondent databases.
Even if you have your consent-compliance approach in place, this programme will help you check that you have considered all the important issues, and provide support as your business needs, systems and the regulations themselves evolve.
This training is a 'one-off' process - it's not part of the annual re-certification process (this only applies to the market research modules).

This Training Programme is made up of two parts:
- Learning (training slides) – available free of charge to all website users, but you will need to be logged in as a site user to view them.
- Test – a short knowledge check, allowing you to cement your knowledge of the key points covered in the training. On passing the test (80% pass mark - so you just need to answer 4 of the 5 questions correctly) you'll receive a named Certificate of Learning. Only full members and certified non-members of the BHBIA can access the test and obtain a certificate.

If you don't already have a BHBIA user name and password: Please register now. Once registered as a site user you will be offered the option to join your company's existing membership, which will give you access to the online training slides AND the test/certification.
