BHBIA Development Officer - job opportunity

Exciting new contract-based part-time role


The BHBIA is currently advertising an exciting new contract-based role - BHBIA Development Officer - with the intent of building upon the existing success of the organisation and developing new offerings in line with the organisation’s core pillars: • Thought leadership • Professional development and • Ethical standards.

The new role is based on the following overall objectives, with the first one being a key initial area of focus:

  1. Defining core competency requirements and associated learning and development needs amongst the membership
  2. Planning learning and development activities
  3. Supporting the implementation of Ethics & Compliance initiatives

Please note that this is a part-time role, so has the potential to be managed alongside other work. 

The type of person we are looking for will have previous experience at the level of a senior business intelligence leader and/or experience in working alongside such roles. They will need to have a genuine passion for best practice in healthcare business intelligence and belief in the value that the BHBIA can add.

We are looking for a driven and autonomous worker with the ability to work under minimal supervision, as well as being a collaborative team player.
