Overview of the BOBI Awards
The BOBI Awards (Best of Business Intelligence) were launched in 2006-7. We are the first and only healthcare-specific business intelligence awards scheme in the UK, giving professionals in our industry an opportunity to gain peer recognition for excellence in business intelligence, market research and sales research/analytics.
The Awards Ceremony takes place at the BHBIA Annual Conference in May each year.

Entries are closed for 2012-13 but you can see information about the categories below. In June 2013 we will be calling for sponsorship for the 2013-14 BOBI Awards (the company logos shown on this page are for the 2012-13 sponsors).
2013-14 Entries will open in September.

There are 4 different types of award, as detailed below. The Panel-Judged Awards are open to all; a small entry fee is payable if none of those listed on the entry are from BHBIA member companies. The BOBI Challenge, Newcomer Awards and Pharma Company/Agency team Awards are open to BHBIA members only and there is no charge for entry.
Panel-Judged Awards
Individuals or teams submit entries in a choice of five different categories, based on real-life business intelligence projects they have conducted in the last 3 years.
Entry Deadline: 31st January
The 'BOBI Challenge'
Awarded to a team following a one-day competition event. Senior level event, with mixed teams (industry and agency) of up to 6 people per team.
Entry Deadline: mid December
Best Newcomer Awards
Awarded following a one-day competition event. To be eligible, entrants must have no more than 3 years' business intelligence experience.
Entry Deadline: mid December
Pharma Company/Agency Team awards
Newly introduced in 2012-13: 'Pharma company I would most like to work in' and 'Agency I would most like to work in'. These are voted for by the BHBIA membership - voting opens on 1st December
Voting deadline: 31st March
Winners in all categories receive an engraved trophy as a permanent symbol of their achievement, and a cash prize (£500 Panel-Judged Awards, BOBI Challenge & Team Awards/£250 Best Newcomer Awards).
The BOBI Steering Committee reserve the right to withdraw any given award category at any time.
