Highlights from Annual Conference #bhbia2023

June 26th, 2023

Exploring Change and Transformation

Earlier this month, the BHBIA Annual Conference brought together more than 280 members to explore the theme of change and transformation. Across three keynote speeches, 11 presentations and case studies, and six interactive workshops, we explored what transformation means and how the UK business intelligence community is innovating to navigate our industry forwards.

Over the coming weeks, we'll be sharing more insights into the conference theme and delving deeper into the topic of our Ethics & Compliance Committee's lively panel discussion on Fair Market Value (FMV).

For now, enjoy the key takeaways from some of bhbia2023's presenters.

Celebrating excellence at the BOBI Awards Ceremony

Amidst the opportunities for learning and connection, conference also allowed us to recognise the BOBI Awards 2023 winners in a dazzling Awards Ceremony.

The culmination of more than 250 individuals contributing to entries across eight categories, the awards recognise excellence in healthcare market research, analytics and fieldwork in the UK.

You can see full coverage of our winners in the July issue of PharmaTimes magazine.

We caught up with some of them, fresh from the awards stage, to hear what winning a BOBI award meant to them. Watch the video below.

The BOBI Best Newcomer award shines a light on the rising talent in our industry and this year's entrants were as impressive as ever. The competition, open to those with less than three years' experience in business intelligence, is challenging and rewarding in equal measure.

This year's event took place on Friday 19th May and we'd like to extend our appreciation to the award's sponsor and host, MSD, for helping us capture the highlights of the day.

Thank you to all this year's BOBI Award entrants, sponsors, judges and organisers for the part you played in this celebration of excellence.

Save the date: Annual Conference #bhbia2024.

Next year's conference will take place on the 13th-14th May 2024. We'll be sharing details of how you can get involved later in the year.
