Important update about the BHBIA website
June 1st, 2026
We're making an important upgrade to the systems that support the BHBIA website and member services.
Behind the scenes, we've been working on a major project to move to a new member management platform. The new platform will provide a more modern and reliable online experience for members, while giving us greater flexibility to develop and improve our services in the future.
To complete the transition, some member services will be unavailable from 09:00 on Thursday 4 June for approximately one week.
Services affected
During this period, you will not be able to:
- take online training or certification
- make event bookings online
- submit guidelines queries through the website
- update membership details or add new members to your organisation
- advertise job vacancies or submit news items
What you need to do
If you are planning to complete any online training or certification in the coming weeks, we recommend doing so before 09:00 on Thursday 4 June.
Similarly, if you would like to book onto any upcoming BHBIA events, we encourage you to do so before this date. Event bookings can still be made by email during the transition period, although booking online may be more convenient.
Event bookings, guidance queries and general enquiries can still be sent to admin@bhbia.org.uk throughout the transition period.
What happens next?
Once the new website is ready, we'll contact members with details of how to log in, access their accounts and any actions they may need to take.
