Are you a driven and ambitious member with two to five years of experience in healthcare business insights? The BHBIA Rising Stars Conference Prize 2026 is now open and offers a unique opportunity to accelerate your development, grow your network and experience the BHBIA Annual Conference.

We're looking for the future leaders of our industry and the potential BHBIA Board members of tomorrow. To do that, we are offering our newer members the opportunity to experience life at our annual conference from a Board member's perspective.

What is the BHBIA Rising Stars Conference Prize?

The prize grants two BHBIA members full delegate access to the BHBIA Annual Conference in April 2026, along with the opportunity to shadow members of the BHBIA Board throughout the event.

What does the prize cover?

The prize will cover the full cost of attending the 2026 BHBIA conference and includes: 

• A full delegate place for both days of the conference (27–28 April)
• The opportunity to shadow BHBIA Board members as they carry out their conference duties
• Attendance at the Gala Dinner on Monday evening, including the BOBI Awards ceremony
• Accommodation at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole for Sunday and Monday nights
  
  

What are we looking for?

We're looking for individuals who are curious, engaged and ready to make the most of this opportunity.

Successful Rising Stars will be people who:

• Are keen to learn and grow in their healthcare business insights career
• Want to become more involved with the BHBIA and understand how the Association works
• Can reflect on what they observe and contribute ideas to help shape future BHBIA activities

Prize winners will be expected to:

• Share their conference experience in authentic, informal ways (for example, via LinkedIn posts, images or short videos)
• Provide a short post-conference reflection for BHBIA channels
• Take part in a Rising Stars session to share their experience with peers
• Attend a BHBIA Board meeting to share feedback and reflections
• Act as ambassadors for BHBIA opportunities within their organisation and wider network
  
  

Who can apply for the BHBIA Rising Stars Conference Prize?

Have between two and five years of experience working in healthcare business insights, when the competition opens on 2nd February 2026

Have not previously attended the BHBIA Annual Conference as a delegate
(Attendance at the Gala Dinner/BOBI Awards only does not exclude you)

Hold valid BHBIA Adverse Event Reporting and Legal & Ethical Guidelines certificates at the time of entry

Have permission from their employer/line manager to attend the event if successful
