The Rising Stars Connect Group is an exclusive BHBIA group for those, with up to five years’ experience in healthcare business intelligence, who would like to share their viewpoint on business intelligence with like-minded individuals. Our next meeting will be held on Wednesday 27th July 2022 via Zoom and, in a follow up to our last meeting, will look at the question 

What difference do my insights make? 

Insights generated from a project can go in many directions and be used in a range of outputs.  Insight projects are often used to support medical communication campaigns and may form the bedrock of how campaigns are developed.

At this meeting we will be looking at the use of research in the communications setting and at the role business intelligence projects can play in delivering patient benefits.

For this meeting we are delighted to welcome Gemma McCarthy, Director of Strategy and Planning at Havas Life Medicom as our guest speaker.  Havas Life Medicom is an award-wining global medical communications agency that is dedicated to working in the healthcare sector.

Gemma started her career in healthcare business intelligence with Cegedim Strategic Data (now part of IQVIA) prior to moving into medical communications with Havas Life Medicom.  We’re extremely grateful to Gemma for giving her time to share her perspective on the question – what difference do my insights make?
