The Rising Stars Connect Group is an exclusive BHBIA group for those, with up to five years’ experience in healthcare business intelligence, who would like to share their viewpoint on business intelligence with like-minded individuals. NHS Open Data – an orientation

We are delighted to welcome Stacey Batchelor from CorEvitas as our guest speaker at this event.  CorEvitas is a science-led, data intelligence company that provides our industry with objective data and clinical insights based on a range of data sources including the open data available from the NHS.

Stacey, a Senior Product Manager within CorEvitas, has a wealth of experience of working with various key data sources.  Over the course of her presentation Stacey will give attendees a guided tour of selected data sources that are available to access highlighting:

• What they are
• Where they come from
• Why the sources can be useful
• How sources can be accessed
• The pros and cons of the data sets

As freely available sources you may encounter these types of data perhaps in an RfP or in a discussion with a client or colleague.  The aim of this meeting is to ensure you are well placed to understand the area and to consider how you may tap into these data sets to enhance your work.

After the presentation the CorEvitas team of Stacey and Shelley Jessop will take questions from the group.  There will also be time for further discussion about the topic in the networking session.
