Which membership is most appropriate for you?
International Headquarters of a BHBIA member - Affiliate
You are based outside the UK, but you want to keep up to date with the excellent BHBIA events & training courses, and for your staff to have access to online training (including AER). Affiliate membership would allow all the staff on the site to access these benefits
Researcher working at a CATI Unit based in the Netherlands
You regularly interview Healthcare Professionals in the UK, and there is a requirement to complete AER training for each project.
Personal Certified Non-Member Membership would provide access to the ABPI endorsed BHBIA online Adverse Event Reporting training. On completion of the approved competency test you would be issued with a validated certificate. You may be required to produce this certificate as evidence to Pharmaceutical Companies of your competency in this area, prior to being able to work on their projects.
Alternatively, your organisation might consider a group membership – either Corporate Certified Non-Member, Affiliate (if your UK based affiliate is a member of the BHBIA) or Corporate. Either membership category would provide AER training access for all members of staff.
You provide Healthcare Professional recruitment services for market research purposes and are increasingly being asked to conduct AER training by your clients.
Personal Certified Non-Member Membership would provide access to the ABPI/BHBIA online Adverse Event Reporting training, and enable you to provide a validated certificate to show you have successfully completed the approved competency test.
You run focus groups amongst Healthcare Professional from time to time in the UK when preparing for an Agency pitch. You want to ensure that these events are run in line with the BHBIA Market Research Legal & Ethical Framework.
Personal Certified Non-Member or Corporate Certified Non-Member Membership would provide access to the guidelines, and the ABPI endorsed BHBIA online Adverse Event Reporting training for the individual who moderates the Groups. Other online training modules are planned in the near future, including training on the BHBIA Legal & Ethical Framework. Associate Membership would provide access to these modules as well.
