BHBIA Committee Updates
October 1st, 2025
We are pleased to share several updates to BHBIA committee roles.
Ethics & Compliance Committee
Rich Hutchings (Senior Commercial Insights, Oncology at Bayer) and Laura Baldock (Compliance Director at Ipsos UK) have been appointed as Co-Chairs of the Ethics & Compliance Committee. Rich brings expertise in data analytics, innovation and technology, while Laura brings deep knowledge of compliance, RWE and HEOR. Together, they are well placed to guide the Committee and ensure that the BHBIA continues to provide a solid foundation in ethics and compliance for our industry.
They take over from Yuliya Fontanetti, who has served as Chair since 2024. Yuliya has been a driving force within the Ethics & Compliance Committee for many years, playing a pivotal role in building a strong and dynamic team with a shared passion for ethics and the industry. She now moves on to an exciting new role outside the healthcare insights sector, and we extend our sincere thanks for her invaluable contributions to the BHBIA and our members.
Sustainability Committee
The Sustainability Committee welcomes Lorna Kirman (Senior Director, Healthcare Research Worldwide (HRW)) as its new Deputy Chair. Lorna will support Bors Hulesch, Chair of the Sustainability Committee, in ensuring that our sustainability commitment is championed across the BHBIA and the wider healthcare insights industry.
Lorna takes over from Kay Sinclair, who has made a significant contribution in this role. We are grateful that Kay will continue as an active member of the Committee.
BOBI Committee
Finally, we welcome Maxim Polyakov (SVP Business Intelligence and Research, M3 EU) as Deputy Chair of the BOBI Committee. Maxim will play a key role alongside Wilf Iliffe, Chair of the BOBI Committee, in supporting the committee to deliver the BOBI Awards, especially as we approach their landmark 20th anniversary in 2026.
We thank Yuliya and Kay for their commitment and hard work, and warmly welcome our new appointees as they begin their roles.
