BHBIA welcomes new Fieldwork Committee Chair

March 27th, 2026

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Jordan Ashall (Associate Director, Global Patient Recruitment, M3 Global Research) as the new Chair of the BHBIA Fieldwork Committee.

Jordan brings over 15 years of experience in healthcare fieldwork management, alongside extensive expertise in both patient and healthcare professional recruitment. He has been actively involved in the Fieldwork Committee since its inception in 2023, and his involvement in BHBIA fieldwork initiatives dates back to the original Response Rate Taskforce in 2017.

Jordan takes over the role from Clare Hopkins (Field Director, Just Worldwide), and we would like to extend our sincere thanks to Clare for her invaluable leadership and contributions to the BHBIA membership. Since the Committee’s formation in 2023, Clare has played a pivotal role in shaping its direction, including championing advancements in guidance on the prevention of fraudulent respondents in primary market research. Her work in developing clear and effective screener design guidance has helped strengthen industry standards. Clare’s expertise, commitment, and hard work have significantly developed the Committee and ensured it is in a strong position for the future.

With Jordan now leading the Committee, supported by Maddy Clark (Techspert) as Deputy Chair and Alan Shirley (Acumen) as Secretary, the team will continue to build on this strong foundation while addressing key priorities for the industry. This includes exploring the impact and implications of AI in fieldwork, strengthening collaboration with DE&I and Ethics & Compliance Committees, and ensuring guidance around fraudulent participants remains robust and up to date. The Committee will also focus on improving the visibility of fieldwork contributions across the industry, reinforcing its critical role in delivering high-quality research.
