News from the BHBIA Team

June 30th, 2023

There can’t be many of our members who haven’t interacted with BHBIA stalwarts Aline Rogers and Tina Clayton at some point during their combined 37 years of service. Their contributions were celebrated at the Annual Conference,

Firstly, we bid a fond farewell to Aline, who will be retiring in September. As the BHBIA's Executive Officer since 2006, Aline has played an instrumental role in the organisation. From launching the BOBI Awards to her support for developments in Ethics & Compliance, Aline has exemplified the values of delivering "excellence with integrity." We know Aline's contribution to healthcare business intelligence will be greatly missed but we wish her a long and happy retirement.

We also took the opportunity to acknowledge Tina's long-service. Over the course of 20 years, she has provided support to our members across all aspects of their membership. While Tina would humbly say she was just a part of a larger team, her knowledge of the BHBIA's operations and her dedication to delivering quality service to our members have been exceptional. We extend our thanks to Tina for her contributions to date and look forward to her continued support.

With Aline's retirement approaching, we wanted to remind you that we have a team of part-time officers and advisors who have walked in our members' shoes during their careers in healthcare business intelligence and compliance. Together, they support the BHBIA's Board and Committees to deliver member initiatives.

Liz Saunders, Engagement Officer: Liz spearheads the expansion of the BHBIA's membership and actively encourages participation in our diverse range of activities.

Jo Williams, Communications Officer: Jo oversees communication and leads key initiatives like the BOBI Awards.

Kate Stevens, Development Officer: Kate is responsible for Learning and Development and providing support to the Ethics & Compliance Committee in their initiatives and member training.

Kim Smith, Ethics & Compliance Advisor: Kim works closely with the Ethics & Compliance Committee  to drive the highest standards of legal and ethical compliance in healthcare business intelligence.

Our BHBIA Admin Team continues to support the day-to-day running of the organisation and are your primary point of contact for general enquires. You can reach them at admin@bhbia.org.uk.
