A discussion forum for those interested in maximising their fieldwork/data collection success within the Healthcare Business Intelligence industry

Our Fieldwork Forums are focussed on ways to foster best practice and to make sure that fieldwork-related issues are given appropriate prominence with the BHBIA membership generally as well as at our major meetings. 

The BHBIA are very keen that our fieldwork members have the opportunity for a stronger voice and increased recognition as valued partners in the market research process. You are very welcome to attend whether or not you have been to one of the previous Fieldwork Forum meetings - and whether you are from a fieldwork company, a market research agency that conducts and/or commissions fieldwork or a pharma client company. BHBIA Personal Members with an interest in fieldwork are also welcome.

Breakout sessions 

In this section we will be following up on progress with the initiatives/actions prioritised at the last Forum (see link on the right hand side of this page to view the proceedings). Working groups have already been formed to start tackling these areas and each group will outline the areas they are working on, share their draft plans and invite your feedback and suggestions. Delegates will rotate around each of the following three sessions so that everyone has a chance to discuss each topic.

  • Working group 1 – Review response rate taskforce report / assess areas to revisit
  • Working group 2 – Screener design & best practice
  • Working group 3 – Revise Consent forms

Round table discussion 

We will come back together for a top-line summary of the group work, and a broader discussion around future suggestions for the forum.

We want this to be an interactive meeting and your participation is key. Please come with an open mind, ready to share your views and contribute your ideas.

There is no charge for this event but places are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis, so please book early to avoid disappointment. In the interest of allowing a range of delegates to join the Forum, whilst still ensuring balanced representation across companies, attendance restrictions have been raised to 4 delegates per company for virtual meetings (2 per company for face to face meetings).

Attendance at this forum is restricted to full BHBIA members only. We will email you to confirm your place and to provide directions to the venue.
