Daniel Wain specialises in learning and development consultancy, and trains and coaches in a range of business, communication, and relationship skills.  He started his career as a market researcher over 30 years ago, specialising in customer relationship research, service measurement and mystery shopping, before moving into business development. He then became Worldwide Director of Learning & Development at Research International, before founding Daniel Wain Consulting Limited in 2007.  His clients have included most of the global insight companies, many boutique agencies both within the UK and internationally, and client-side insight teams at organisations as diverse as Avon, BBC, BT, Capita, Coca-Cola, Hewlett-Packard, the House of Commons, ITV, the National Lottery, Ofcom, the Office of Health Economics, Pfizer, PwC, Telia Sonera, Tesco Bank, Transport for London and Waitrose. Daniel is an accomplished conference speaker and chair, winning many awards including the John Wheeler Award for Best Training Session at the 2021 BHBIA Annual Conference. He has contributed regularly to a variety of business journals, hosted international webinars and been a visiting lecturer in marketing and market research at several universities and business schools. He is a Fellow of the Market Research Society, the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development, and the Royal Society of Arts. He is also a published playwright and award-winning actor!
