Virtual Workshop

BHBIA Behavioural Science in Quantitative Research

Via Zoom
Thursday 16 November 2023, 9:30 AM - 1:00 PM

This workshop is now fully booked - however, if you are interested in attending, please register for the event, selecting the 'I would like a quote' payment option, and you will be put on the waiting list. We'll be in contact if a place should become available. Wait-listed bookings will not be bound by our booking conditions until we have confirmed that a place is available and you have accepted it

Research agencies have enjoyed success incorporating insights and approaches from behavioural science into qualitative research.

However, while some have had similar success with quantitative research, there is still significant untapped potential.

This interactive workshop will explore how approaches including psychographic profiling (using e.g. the academically proven OCEAN framework) and behaviour change frameworks (using e.g. University College London’s COM-B model) have been successfully used in quantitative research to help pharma clients better understand, predict and change behaviour.

Whether you work in an agency or client-side, this session will enable you to discover specific opportunities, and to immediately start applying behavioural science insights and approaches to quantitative research. Importantly, the applications discussed will be low cost, and complementary to existing quantitative research techniques and data collection methods.

The workshop will build on the highly successful webinar which Chris Harvey ran for the BHBIA in September 2022. If you missed the webinar, or would like to refresh your memory on the content, you can view the recording here: https://www.bhbia.org.uk/events-courses-webinars/behavioural-science-quantitative-research  We will develop the themes further and give delegates a chance to take part in practical exercises to experience some of the concepts first hand.

This workshop will be run for us by Chris Harvey - Founder, Activate Research

We are very grateful to Chris for sharing his time and expertise for the benefit of BHBIA members.
