BHBIA Ethics & Compliance Committee - appointments

February 1st, 2020

We are pleased to confirm the appointment of Rebecca D'Ippolito - Global Compliance Manager, SERMO to the BHBIA Ethics & Compliance Committee. Rebecca will bring valuable expertise and an important fieldwork perspective to the group.

We are also delighted to announce the appointment of current team member Yuliya Fontanetti to the newly defined role of Deputy Chair of the Ethics & Compliance Committee. As Senior Director, Operations and Compliance at HRW, Yuliya is well-placed to take on this role, which has been established to support the Chair and team leads, and help us to better co-ordinate and manage activities across all the whole committee.

Paula Walker, Eli Lilly, also takes up a new role - as Consultant to the Committee. This role recognises Paula’s service over a long period, including a stint as Ethics Lead on the BHBIA Board. The new role allows her to step back from the day to day business of the Committee, but continue to have input into key decisions.

We also welcomed Matteo Scaringi, Global Compliance Officer - Branding Science Group to the team back in November 2019.

Finally, we would like to take this opportunity to thank Mo Rice, M3 Global Research, who has stepped down from the Committee after several years' valued service on the Guidelines team.

The Ethics & Compliance Committee is made up of more than 20 individuals from BHBIA member pharma companies and agencies, encompassing a range of roles and areas of expertise. The group works hard on your behalf to ensure that BHBIA members are kept up to date with the latest guidance and legislation to help you stay ahead of the game when it comes to compliance.
