Data for pharma – what is out there? – can I use it?

Webinar
Tuesday 20 March 2018, 12:30 PM - 1:30 PM

This webinar is aimed primarily at businesses and people that are relatively new to pharma, or new to Business Information (BI) in pharma.

It will give an overview of the current BI data sources, both public domain and commercial. It will discuss in general terms the gaps that exist, and the restrictions that limit access to and use of some data.

We will then go on to share several company case studies. These case studies describe real business questions showing how those questions have been answered and insights revealed using data. Experienced BI practitioners may find these case studies of interest and value in that they may suggest tools, techniques and even data sources that you haven’t tried.

Presenters:

Simon Brander, CSL
Carmina Alvaro, Sanofi
Amanda Cook, Novo Nordisk
Lee Ronan, CSL

This webinar is the first in a series aimed at helping members understand more about different types of continuous data (including various NHS data sources). The aim being to inform listeners about the range of data sources, both open source and commercial, that could be used, and suggest what should be considered when using them. The precise content of each session will be confirmed as each date approaches.
