Introduction to the Pharmaceutical Industry and Business Intelligence Practice - course review

October 1st, 2020

This one-day workshop took place on 17th September and was aimed at those who were new to the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry in both pharmaceutical companies and agencies

Our aim was to help the trainees 'hit the ground running' with this overview of the pharmaceutical industry and where business intelligence fits in, run by experienced business intelligence professionals including members of the BHBIA Board and Ethics & Compliance Committee.

It was the first time we have run the session via Zoom: it seems likely that the virtual format allowed some people to attend who might not have been able to join us face to face and it was great to see such a good attendance.

Course convener Dan Coffin commented:

"An engaging, interactive and energetic session with a highly capable and smart group of delegates from a variety of client and agency perspectives, all conducted through a collaborative, virtual platform. It was a delight for me to convene such an involved group of delegates who really gave me high hopes for the future of our industry."
