Entries for BOBI Awards 2024 have now closed. The BOBI Best Newcomer event will take place on Friday 26th April.

Once again this year, there has been huge enthusiasm for the Best Newcomer competition. Entries will be accepted until the deadline of 5th February and the available spaces will be assigned based on the entry criteria. Unfortunately, we may not be able to accommodate all entrants but individuals who do not secure a spot initially will be placed on a waiting list. They will be considered if a space becomes available later.

Awarded to the newcomer (up to three years' experience in business intelligence) who performs best in a series of individual challenges at a competition day

Competition day: Friday 26th April 2024 at Ipsos, 3 Thomas More Square, London E1W 1YW

This is your chance to shine! It will be an intense and challenging experience, but you'll also meet others, learn new things and have fun! 

  • Opportunity to demonstrate your core abilities and skills, regardless of your specific experience or job role
  • Enter as an individual – and take part in individual exercises based on a fictitious product launch scenario
  • A developmental opportunity as well as a competition – all entrants receive detailed feedback;
  • Friendly atmosphere – meet and network with other entrants and the judges, including a chance to relax over drinks at the end of the day
  • Special ticket privileges for the Awards Ceremony on 13th May
  • A £250 cash prize for the winner! 
How to enter 
  • All you need to do now is ask for your manager's permission, then click the ENTER NOW button below to register. 
  • To ensure fair competition, you must have no more than three years total experience in any business insights roles (non-healthcare roles also count towards this) and no more than five years total experience in healthcare as of 31st December the year prior to the competition. 
  • Please save the date of the competition day and we will be in touch to let you know if you have a place. 
  • Places will initially be restricted to one per member organisation, but a second person can apply and will be added to the waiting list in case a space becomes available. Full BHBIA member companies are given priority.

Places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis (subject to eligibility criteria) so don’t delay! 

What happens next? 
  • We will contact you after the entry deadline to let you know if you have a place. 
  • If so, we’ll then be in touch nearer the time with details of the programme for the day and instructions about how you need to prepare. 
  • The winner will be announced at the awards ceremony on 13th May.
